We've had a whole week of sunshine here and as anyone who knows the Great British weather will tell that's kind of a rare thing. We've been trying to make the most of it with trips to the beach, paddling in the sea and plenty of ice cream. There's nothing quite like those long, hazy days of Summer is there?
I bought a set of plain glass votive candles on the weekend and thought they'd be perfect to add a little mood lighting to those warm Summer evenings spent outdoors. They smelt fantastic but after I got them home I decided they needed a little jazzing up. I made these pretty printable candle wraps for them using a free download of some abstract plants and patterns from PixelBuddha and thought I'd share them here with you as well. Simply print them on plain paper and wrap around your votives.

A Printer
Scissors
Double-sided Tape
Step 1: Download and print out the printable votive candle wraps pdf.
Step 2: Cut out each of the wraps.
Step 3: Stick some double-sided tape to the end and wrap around your votive.
There's so many uses for these pretty candles. Pop them on your coffee table or fireplace to add a lovely Summery touch to a room. Maybe give them as gifts, housewarming presents, wedding favours or just keep them all for yourself. A simple craft perfect for Summertime.
