If you've always wanted to have a go at making some simple origami but didn't know where to start then look no further.

I know when you first start origami can look complicated but don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be. In fact some of my favourite projects are the simplest ones. Like these origami bookmarks (which you can download in my free origami ebook) and these simple origami snack cups. All you need is some time and a little patience.

Nearly all of these origami projects are quick and easy and can be folded from a single square of paper. No mess, no fuss, just pretty paper crafts you can get done in an hour or two.

You can make them using traditional origami paper, old magazines, gift wrap, colourful paper or even a page out of a notebook. Any thin paper that allows for accurate creases will work which means they’re super cheap to make as well.

Sending a card, you’ll need a simple origami envelope, making a present, wrap it in a handmade origami gift box, dress it up with some ribbon and an origami paper bow and you’ve got a uniquely wrapped gift.
