Easter Basket Printable.
Are you ready to test out your paper crafting skills? With Easter right around the corner, I’ve got a great DIY Easter basket for you. If you’re one of those last-minute Easter basket makers then this printable template is for you.
I’m a big fan of easy Easter crafts in particular Easter baskets. I’ve made origami Easter baskets, easy baskets you can measure, fold and score and even origami bunny baskets.
The great thing about these printable templates is there’s no measuring or fancy scoring or folding. All you need to make these simple baskets is the free template, some pretty paper, scissors and tape.
In fact, they’re so simple that I’ve rounded up twenty more Easter basket templates that I think you’re going to love. They’re the perfect size to fill your favourite chocolate eggs and maybe a mini chocolate bunny or two.
DIY Easter Baskets.
These DIY baskets can be made using any coloured or patterned card or paper but I recommend using lightweight cardstock like scrapbooking paper or any other thin cardstock that can go through a printer.
As the template is blank it makes it easy to personalise your baskets. I printed mine out on some pretty spring scrapbook paper but you can mix and match with whatever supplies you have on hand.
Print it out on a plain white card and you can even get the kids to draw their own design for a totally unique one-of-a-kind basket.

How to make Easy Easter Baskets (with free template).
1. Scroll down and download the template.
2. Print out the template onto your chosen patterned cardstock.
If you’re using scrapbook paper you may need to cut it to size first.
2. Cut out the template. Don’t forget the handle!
3. Use an embossing tool and a ruler to score along all the lines.
If you don’t have an embossing tool an old ballpoint pen or a butter knife works well.
4. Fold along all the score lines.
5. Stick double-sided tape or apply glue to each of the tabs.
6. Assemble your box by folding and sticking the tabs to the sides.
7. Attach the handle.
8. Fill your finished Easter basket with shredded tissue paper and chocolate eggs.
If you don’t have any shredded paper Jen from Kitchen Counter Chronicles has a clever tutorial showing you how to make your own homemade Easter grass.
These sweet baskets are the easiest way to add some personalised Easter cheer to your home. Add some ribbon or pretty 3D butterflies or tie a small name tag to the handle and have the little ones hunt for their own basket.
